Job Description

*This position is based at the Lima site in Ohio*

The successful candidate for this position will be able to perform Material Control and Support functions in support of D713 Manufacturing.

Material Coordinators are required to receive, identify, locate, and retrieve materials.

In this role the successful candidate must be prepared to travel and work overtime as required.

Additionally, the successful candidate may be required to travel to different EB sites or Shipyards and must be prepared to work any shift that may be required. Furthermore the selected candidate may be required to physically lift items, up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year experience in Warehousing and Material Handling supporting steel trades construction
  • Must be willing to travel and work overtime as required

Preferred:

  • Warehousing and/or material handling and support services experience
  • An understanding of material documents including receipts, shipping documents, etc. Oracle experience would be desirable

  • Strong ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working across various disciplines and programs Capable of working both in a team environment and/or independently
  • Strong organizational skills necessary
  • Experience with material ordering and inventory control computer systems
