Job Description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Materials Coordinator based in Manila, Philippines. You’ll provide critical support to Aggreko’s operations team enabling the procurement of goods and services and on-time delivery. This shall include review, technical validation, and accurate recording of information on requisitions.

What you’ll do as Materials Coordinator:

  • Work closely with requistioners and service centre technicians, to ensure requisitions submitted have accurate information, avoiding unnecessary delays in PO conversion and creation.
  • Liaise with depots for inventory availability excluding MRP for stock availability on new requests and raise distribution orders for depot to pick, pack and dispatch.
  • Validation of requisitions ensuring accuracy of part numbers, cost allocation, price (where known), quantity and required delivery date.
  • Work closely with inventory management to identify trends and opportunities to reduce transactional activity.
  • Engage with Procurement and external suppliers as required to define requirement.
  • Awareness and contribution to compliance with procurement policy and achieving related KPIs.
  • Follow-up of all open parts order (Purchase & Distribution Order) to ensure minimal delays in delivery
  • Co-ordinate the manual invoice matching process to payment through Basware system where discrepancies to invoice exist

You are:

  • Experience working in a customer-facing and/or planning role.
  • Must have a technical understanding of Electrical, Mechanical and Refrigeration componentry.
  • Materials management experience and/or knowledge of mechanical & electrical parts is highly desirable.
  • Computer skills in MS Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Movex/M3 or similar ERP system experience.
  • Able to work shifts to accommodate APAC time zones.
  • Good communication - Proficiency in English.
  • Capable of working independently, with ability to use own initiative.
  • Able to collaborate with various functions to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Proficient time management skills.
