Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in material control / inventory management
Construction industry experience is mandatory
Applicant must be locally available in Qatar
Must hold a valid Freelance Visa
Perform material control, stock management, and inventory control activities
Control, issue, and manage bench stock materials
Obtain materials required for equipment modification, periodic component replacement, and Bill of Materials (BOM) support
Maintain and coordinate storage methods and warehouse control, including receipt, issue, and disposal of materials
Apply proper material handling and storage techniques
Perform item-wise and monetary accounting of inventory
Compute material requirements, determine allowances, and identify supply and equipment needs
Carry out inspection, identification, receipt, and storage of materials
Conduct regular physical inventories and ensure accuracy of stock records
Ensure facility safety, security, and compliance with site procedures
Operate automated systems, material handling equipment, and authorized vehicles as required
Strong knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse operations
Good coordination and record-keeping skills
Familiar with construction site material procedures
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting
