The Material Control Coordinator is an analytical professional that performs the creation & maintenance of the Bills of Material. This position is integral in the planning & support of Advanced Work Packaging by providing project personnel with constraint and material readiness.
Coordinate / Communicate directly with Work Face Planning, Scheduling, Engineering, and Expediting to collect necessary Bills of Material detail and work package attributes.
Revise & populate Bills of Material data in the Material Management System
(MMS)
Support the data analysis for construction planning meetings and be prepared to support/explain the results.
Perform & oversee the pick ticket creation and issuing of material within the Material Management System (MMS)
Generate reports for project team to include forecast of work package requirements.
Continuously review Material Readiness look ahead reports and provide status to project team to eliminate material constraints.
Train project staff on process and procedures including transactions related to Bill of Materials
Generate requisitions for material shortages related to Bills of Materia
Other task as required
Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee.
Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
3 to 5 years’ experience on an industrial construction project.
Previous experience in this position.
Associate’s Degree

Employee may be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
Will talk and hear to communicate.
May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 25lbs (occasionally more).
Occasionally be required to spend time on the construction site and will need to have the ability to walk and climb various outdoor conditions.
Ability to work alone and with others including craft, planners, managers, engineers, suppliers, and customers.
