Job Description

The Material Handling Supervisor is responsible for leading teams of hourly employees, this role directly supports daily production, this individual acts as the centralized resource for the Plant Production Operations Centers, Safety, Quality, Engineering and Production Control Operations team, Ensure correct process in material shipping, receiving, and delivery activities that enable the plant to meet daily production targets and Ensure quality and operation systems are implemented and functioning per standards and ensure optimal operators certification.
This role directly supports Daily Production activities. The Material Handling Supervisor is responsible for troubleshooting problems as they arise and allocating resources and manpower accordingly to resolve issues without impact to plant throughput performance. The selected candidate’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to coordinating all activities in any area of Material Logistic Handling responsabilities.
The Material Handling Supervisor is also responsible for directly managing a team of hourly employees, accountable for employee hiring, training, performance and retention. Utilizes problem solving skills and tools to root cause and resolve top issues.
Interacts with all levels of the organization including hourly and salary employees as well as executive leadership.
Leads Safety, Quality and Cost initiatives set forth by the Plant and Corporate.

Qualifications

Industrial, Logistics Management Engineer, Supply Chain Managment English 80%
