Job Description

The candidate must have extensive knowledge in areas of material handling to ensure the compliance with safety and quality production, the compliance with safety guidelines on the use of equipment & DPS Controls. Develop, implement and promote improvement proposals for each area of materials handling (receipt, storage and supply line) to streamline the supply of materials for daily production through kaizen's. Monitor scorecard indicators and take the necessary measures to ensure compliance. Oversee requisitions and projects of material handling area that support the operation of the department. Plan, develop and implement strategies with MHE that allow the plant to go ahead in material handling corporate. Coordinate activities of each launch or deployment to ensure no affect to the production and lessen the impact on operations material handling. Actively participate in the pilots of every new vehicle in the design of racks, containers, and display of the material. Maintain communication and leadership with purchasing departments, controller, AME, legal, production, labor relations, production engineering, union, pertinent to future plans of the plant operation intervene directly in decisions. Teamwork with external logistics to improve transportation routes.

Qualifications

Industrial, Logistics Management Engineer, Supply Chain Managment English 80%
