About the Grounds Team:

Our Grounds team are the dedicated professionals responsible for maintaining and enhancing the pitch and surrounding areas to the highest standards. They play a vital role in ensuring that the playing surface is safe, beautiful, and in top condition for every match and event. The Opportunity:

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Matchday Groundsperson. This is a matchday-only position, perfect for those looking to be involved in the excitement of game days without a permanent commitment. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the pitch to the highest standards ahead of each match, ensuring a safe and attractive playing surface for players and spectators. Your duties will include mowing, watering, marking lines, and supporting post-match pitch care, all while adhering to health and safety standards.

What We Ask For:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about sports and groundsmanship, with a hardworking and reliable attitude. The ideal candidate will have experience in groundskeeping or pitch maintenance, and be detail-oriented and able to work efficiently under pressure on matchdays. While experience with pitch maintenance equipment and techniques is preferred, full training will be provided for the right person. Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings is essential, as the role is primarily focused on matchdays. Above all, we seek someone enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to helping us deliver the best possible pitch for each game.
