Under the supervision of the Director of Prevention & Recovery, the MAT Coordinator ensures all project goals, objectives and activities are achieved and are culturally appropriate and sensitive to the target population. The position will provide direct support to outpatient staff and facilitate all consortium meetings, trainings and events. The position coordinates all MAT service delivery provided at the physical locations and mobile unit locations at the Navajo Nation Chapter Houses.
The coordinator will develop and disseminate communication materials and science-based messaging to educate the public, identifying key communication venues for target populations, including web-based social networking sited and print and broadcast media, implementing education and communication campaigns. The position will also support training activities at local hospitals, first responder agencies and other community organizations and develop messages to leaders, elected officials, and other community stakeholders.
The Santa Fe Recovery Center works with individuals to sustain lasting recovery from substance use disorders and related mental health disorders by providing culturally relevant, evidence based treatment and education in partnership with other community organizations.
