In a RAN setting, network measurements and operational data are collected, filtered, and encoded by classical components before selected computational tasks are sent to a quantum processor. Understanding and optimizing these end-to-end data flows is essential for assessing whether quantum acceleration can provide practical value in telecom systems.
The thesis includes the following tasks:
software stacks (QISKIT, Cuda-Q, Pennylane, etc.)
The work is expected to start in Jan 2027. The work is proposed for 1 student for a duration of 6 months. Location is at Ericsson Research in Stockholm (Kista), Sweden.
