The Master Instructors are responsible for direct student assessment and instruction, progress documentation, academic progress, family communication, and attendance and participation at all professional development and presession planning seminars. Responsible for direct student assessment and instruction with fidelity to CLIFFTOP intervention model. The work is performed onsite at UWM's Childrens Learning Center in the evenings.
Job Responsibilities
80% –Master Instructors will assess students, analyze data and write assessment-based intervention plans based on the CLIFFTOP model, as well as draft initial and progress reports, which are shared with families. As the foundation for student instruction, these lesson plans will include semester objectives, teaching strategies, and home extension plans. Master Instructors deliver instruction under the direction of the Director over the course of the semester adjusting instruction based on ongoing monitoring of student progress.
15% – Communicate with families about scheduling, student reports, and weekly home extensions.
5% – Actively participate in initial and ongoing professional development.

Tutoring: Lump sum pay rate of $1400/per student/per semester
Pre-tutoring assessment/Pre- and Post-tutoring reporting: $350 per student/semester
-This is a part time position. The number of students assigned to each Master Teacher is determined by need of the SFLC and availability of the selected Master Teacher.
Total: $1750 pay per student/semester

We are currently searching for Master Teachers to begin training in fall 2026. These hires will begin tutoring in spring 2027. This is a continuous recruitment with a next review date of September 4, 2026. Applications submitted after September 3, 2026 may not be reviewed.
