The Master Scheduleris responsible fordeveloping and managing the weekly and long-range production schedules for the Kit Production team. This role ensures the efficient use of resources, alignment of production plans with material availability, and adherence to customer and internal deadlines. The Master Scheduler acts as the key liaison between Production, Supply Chain, and Planning teams to balance capacity, resolve constraints, andoptimizeworkflow across all manufacturing work centers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop,publish,andmaintainthemasterproductionscheduleforallKitProductionworkcenters,ensuringalignmentwithdemandrequirementsandcapacityconstraints

  • Level-loadproductionschedulestooptimizeresourceutilization,minimizedowntime,andmeetservice levelexpectations

  • Ensurefinalmaterialreadinessfrommaterialsteampriortoworkorderrelease

  • Releaseandtrackworkordersthroughmanufacturing,maintainingvisibilitytowork-in-processinventory,andidentifyingissuesthatmayimpactscheduleadherence

  • Collaboratecloselywithmanufacturing,quality,andmaterialsteamstoproactivelyidentifyandresolvebottlenecks,capacitylimitations,andsupplyshortages

  • Monitordailyandweeklyprogressagainstplan,adjustingschedulesasneededtoaccommodatechangingpriorities,equipmentavailability,ormaterialconstraints

  • Coordinatecross-functionallywithSupplyChain, Procurement,andWarehouseteamstoensureon-timeavailabilityofrequiredmaterialsandcomponents

  • Communicatescheduleupdates,risks,andrecoveryplanstostakeholders,providingclearvisibilityintoproductionstatus

  • Supportcontinuousimprovementbyanalyzingscheduleperformancemetricsandcontributingtoprocessenhancementsinplanning,scheduling,andcapacitymanagement

  • Participateinorleadproblem-solvingandroot-causeanalysisrelatedtomissedcommitments,materialdelays,orproductioninefficiencies

  • Providerecommendationsforimprovingschedulingtools,systems,andmethodologiestoachievebest-in-classplanningperformance

  • Mayberequiredtoperformotherrelateddutiesasassignedtosupportproductionandsupplychainoperations

Required EducationandExperience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years).

Required Knowledge, Skills,andAbilities

  • Strong understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning, and material requirements planning (MRP) principles.

  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and cross-functional dependencies.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and act on production data, KPIs, and scheduling metrics.

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systemsrequired

  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a dynamic production environment.

  • Familiarity with Lean or Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies a plus.
