Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Master Planner / Senior Scheduler to lead the development and execution of detailed production schedules and mid-to-long-term operations planning. This role acts as the critical interface between Sales, Operations, and Manufacturing, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and capacity across multiple work centers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a High Mix, Low Volume (HMLV) environment, driving improvements in on-time delivery (OTD) and revenue forecast accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze work center capacity, material availability, and resource constraints to generate efficient, executable production plans.

  • Create and release production orders in a timely manner using MRP tools and capacity planning techniques to meet customer demand.

  • Translate customer orders, material status, procurement plans, and lead times into a cohesive mid- and long-term operational forecast.

  • Confirm component readiness prior to releasing orders to the shop floor to ensure seamless production flow.

  • Serve as the liaison between Manufacturing, Sales, and Program Management, providing preliminary shipment schedules and addressing planning gaps.

  • Expedite and resolve scheduling delays by proactively adjusting plans to accommodate unforeseen disruptions.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Program Management, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of production and business objectives.

  • Drive and maintain accuracy in revenue forecasts and ensure compliance with on-time delivery goals.

  • Provide clear, detailed manufacturing plans, monitor progress, and initiate corrective actions when needed to stay on track.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or related operational functions.

  • Must have strong Excel skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to 140,000.
