Job Description


The Master Planner/Scheduler is responsible for transforming demand and supply inputs into an actionable master production schedule. In this role, you will convert forecasts, incoming order volume, and defined work scopes into a time-phased production plan. You will also develop and track key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of the master schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert forecasts from S&OP, incoming demand, and work scopes into a detailed production plan with a time-phased build schedule.

  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure master schedule accuracy and performance.

  • Partner with functional leaders to maintain forecast accuracy through timely updates and feedback.

  • Prepare master schedule reports that track performance against business, shipment, inventory, and production plans.

  • Review current demand projections and develop tactical production plans to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred; or an Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) in manufacturing, operations, or materials management.

  • 8+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, materials management, or manufacturing operations within a standard-product environment.

  • Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems, bills of material, routings, inventory management, and capacity planning.

  • APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.

  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency with data-driven planning tools.

  • Working knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred; or an Associate’s degree/equivalent experience in manufacturing, operations, or materials management.

Experience: 8+ years in production planning, master scheduling, materials management, or manufacturing operations within a standard-product environment. Experience with MRP/ERP systems, BOMs, routings, inventory control, and capacity planning required.

Skills: APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification preferred. Advanced Excel and data-driven planning skills. Familiarity with Lean/continuous improvement practices.
