POSITION

The Master Mixologist, with a provenexpertiseinMolecularMixologyis a strategic and creative leader responsible for elevating the resort’sFood & Beverageprogram through innovation, technique, and guest engagementin the field of beverage offerings This role blends culinary artistry with advanced mixology techniques, delivering world-class cocktail experiences that align with Four Seasons standards of luxury, creativity, and service excellence.

This position plays a key role in driving revenue, enhancing guest satisfaction, and differentiating the resort’s F&B offerings through signature, immersive beverage experiences.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

Beverage Innovation &MixologyProgram Development 

  • Design and lead a cutting-edge molecular mixology program, incorporating modern techniques such as specification, foams, gels, infusions, carbonation, andclarificationapplications where appropriate

  • Develop seasonal and signature cocktailand zero-proofmenuofferingsaligned with resort positioning, locally sourcedingredients, and global trends. 

  • Continuously evolve offerings based on guestand leadershipfeedback, business performance, and emerging beverage trends. 

Guest Experience 

  • Deliver interactive and memorablebeverageexperiences, including tableside presentations, curated tastings, and bespoke cocktail moments. 

  • Engage directly with guests to personalize experiences, build loyalty, and create a distinctive sense of place. 

  • Ensure all offerings meet Four Seasons standards of quality, consistency, safety, and presentation. 

Operational Leadership 

  • Partner with Food & Beverage leadership to drive beverage revenue, cost control, and profitability. 

  • Maintain inventory, product quality, and compliance with all health, hygiene, and safety regulations. 

  • Establish and maintain SOPs for preparation, presentation, and execution of complex cocktails and beverage activations. 

Training & Development 

  • Lead training programs for bar and service teams on advanced mixology techniques, storytelling, and luxury service delivery. 

  • Build team capability in both classic and modern cocktail execution. 

  • Mentor high-potential team members to support succession planning and long-term capabilitydevelopment within the beverage programat Four Seasons Resort Nevis.

Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with culinary teams on pairings and integrated dining experiences. 

  • Support special events, andcollaborations, including guest bartender series and resort-exclusive experiences. 

  • Contribute to marketing content, internal storytelling, and public relations initiatives tied to the resort's beverage identity. 

LeadershipandCulture

  • Modelaculture ofempathy, emotionalintelligence, andFourSeasons behaviors.

  • Support training for newemployees on guest experience expectations.

  • Serves as an advisor on overallresort mixologythroughtheAssistant /Director ofFood & Beverage

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Minimum 7-10years of progressive experience in luxury bar operations or high-end beverage programs. 

  • Proven expertise in molecular mixology techniques and modern cocktail innovation. 

  • Recognized industry certifications (e.g., WSET, BarSmarts, or comparable mixology certifications) preferred. 

  • Strong knowledge of spirits, flavor profiles, ingredient functionality, and beverage presentation techniques. 

  • Experience inprior concept development, ina luxury hospitality environmentrequired

  • Prior involvement in beverage related marketing including partnerships with international media houses.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and guest engagement through beverage programming. 

  • Prior Departmental Trainer / Train the Trainer or related certifications preferred.

  • 2 Year Diploma / Higher education in the field of hospitality preferred.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods,lift upto 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts

  • Manual Dexterity: Mustpossesshigh manual dexterity and fine motor skills to measure, weigh, and manipulate minute quantities ofchemistryrelated compoundsand reagents, including the use of liquid nitrogen

  • Equipment Handling: Ability tooperate, clean, and troubleshoot precision laboratory instruments and delicate glasswareutilizedfor molecular mixology and other advancedbar craft

  • Vision & Coordination: Requires keen hand-eye coordination and visual acuity to safely handle hazardous materials andinterpretprecise volumetric measurements. 

  • Hands-on operational involvement required
