ROLE PURPOSE
The Master Data Steward will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across the global organisation. This position involves collaborating with multiple teams across the whole Glory business, including Customer Experience, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Service and IT team, to maintain global master data standards and process within the Glory businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and experience with data management tools such as Oracle Product Data Hub(PDH)/Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ)/Customer Data Management(CDM) and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, implement, and maintain master data management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues and ensure data consistency across systems.
  • Monitor and maintain master data records, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of MDM solutions and tools, including data modelling, data governance frameworks, and workflows.
  • Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
  • Configure and develop MDM tools such as Oracle Product Information Management/Oracle Enterprise Data Quality/Oracle Product Development (PLM) to drive and improve overall global data quality
  • Provide training and support to business units within global organisation on best practices related to master data management.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to master data processes, data definitions, and data governance.
  • Participate in data migration projects and support global ERP system implementations from a master data perspective.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in master data management and data governance

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or related roles.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)) could be beneficial to the role.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
· Experience with Oracle Applications Cloud Management tools and technologies (e.g., Product Data Hub, Enterprise Data Quality, Customer Data Management, Product Development etc.) is highly desirable.
· Demonstrated programme management skills will be advantage
· Proficient in data analysis, data modelling, and data profiling techniques.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across global and remote teams.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
· Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
· Proven results orientation.
· Flexible for global travel as required.
