About the Role

As a Master Data Specialist, you will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of master data across our business systems. This is a part-time maternity cover position, supporting business operations through reliable data management and collaboration with stakeholders across different functions and regions.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with data, has a strong eye for detail, and thrives in a collaborative environment. What You Will Do

  • Master Data Maintenance: Create, update, and delete master data records in SAP, MDG, and other ERP systems while ensuring data integrity.

  • Data Quality Management: Perform regular quality checks, identify discrepancies, and take appropriate corrective actions.

  • Request Management: Handle tickets and data-related requests in a timely and professional manner while meeting agreed service levels.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders and global teams to support data requirements and resolve issues.

  • Process Compliance: Document activities and follow established master data governance processes and standards.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Support reporting activities and provide data-related insights when required.

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to data cleansing initiatives and process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and data quality.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems in a master data, analytical, or operational support role.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel; familiarity with Master Data Management processes is considered an advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive, structured approach with the ability to work independently and manage changing priorities.

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

More About the Location

This is a part-time maternity cover position based in the Budapest area. While the role offers the flexibility to work primarily from a home office, we are looking for a candidate who is located within commuting distance of Budapest and able to attend the office from time to time for team meetings, collaboration sessions, and business needs.
