Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

What you will be doing

• Work closely with operational teams to deliver the expected Master Data service and improvements align with the Business requirements and Hydro policies, rules
• Ensure data quality, compliance and consistency of master data across business systems
• The role is responsible for the timely validation, creation and maintenance of the Master Data object values in scope based on TOM, called customer / vendor master data records across all supported ERP system(s)
• Their activity ensures the data quality, compliance, consistency, simplicity, safety and trust in various, supported ERP environment(s) in the meanwhile providing the best in class service to our internal and external Customers / Stakeholders
• Identify / come up with different process improvement ideas / opportunities that helps the day-to-day work and improve the Data Quality, Master Data services based on the received requirements, feedbacks by reacting of the changing environment
• Closely work together with the Senior(s), Team Lead(s), Process Champion(s), Global Process Owner, the Business and actively participate in different process change implementations to improve the provided services and increase the Data Quality level across all supported ERP(s)
• Perform mass updates with the available transaction code / toolset
• Capable to generate reports based on different requirements with the available transaction code / toolset and request support from the Senior Master Data Specialist / Team Lead in case of complex reports
• Able to analyze the upcoming issues or address it to the relevant resolver team for solution, and react quickly to avoid / mitigate the impacts to the business by initiating different type of tickets based on the given information
• Investigate and determine the root cause of the issues in cooperation with the Senior Master Data Specialist, Team Lead and Master Data Process Champion, and actively participate in the necessary process change / improvement implementation
• Actively participate in different internal, cross-departmental and global projects where Master Data involvement and execution is required. Provide expertise during the whole lifecycle of the project by committed to the success and support the go-live related Master Data activities (e.g.: cleansing, testing etc.)

What will make you successful?

• 1-3 years working experience in Shared Service/GBS environment and/or have financial background
• College / University degree or similar in finance field
• Fluent in English is desired. Any other language is a plus
• Focus on detail, accuracy and consistency
• Professional and commercial outlook
• Ability to meet deadlines and take projects to completion
• Awareness and appreciation of business priorities cashflow and the implications of actions on daily GBS operation
• Develop and improve team members and team performance
• Proficiency with SAP / S4 HANA accounting software
• Knowledge of Master Data objects especially of Business Partner (customer, vendor)
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service problem solving orientation
• Service mindedness
