Job Description

Master Data Operations

  • Create, modify, block and deactivate master data in Oracle Fusion and other designated systems in accordance with approved requests and established governance.
  • Maintain master data across key domains including Customer, Product/Item, Supplier and Finance master data, based on defined role responsibilities.
  • Validate that requests contain required approvals and supporting information before execution.
  • Ensure master-data changes are accurately reflected in applicable downstream systems and integrations.
  • Manage requests within defined service-level agreements and business priorities.

Data Quality & Governance

  • Perform regular data-quality checks for completeness, accuracy, consistency and duplicates.
  • Identify and remediate master-data quality issues and legacy-data cleanup requirements.
  • Support development and maintenance of master-data standards, procedures and work instructions.
  • Monitor recurring issues and recommend preventive improvements.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and audit trails for master-data changes.

Controls & Compliance

  • Execute master-data activities in accordance with Esko's internal control and SOX requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate segregation between request, approval and execution of master-data changes.
  • Support internal and external audit requests relating to master-data controls.
  • Escalate unauthorized, incomplete or non-compliant requests.

Continuous Improvement

  • Track MDM operational KPIs including request volumes, turnaround time, first-time-right rate, backlog, data-quality exceptions and SLA performance.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and automate master-data processes.
  • Support simplification of master-data structures and workflows following Project LEAP.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis of defects and operational issues resulting from master-data quality.

Business Partnership

  • Work closely with global Data Owners and Data Stewards across Finance, Product Management, Commercial Operations, Procurement, Service and IT.
  • Provide guidance to users on master-data requirements and processes.
  • Support ongoing Oracle Fusion stabilization and future system/business integrations.
