As a Master Data Consultant, you will act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders regarding material master data processes.

What You’ll Do | Your day to day will consist of

  • Perform regular quality assurance inspections for material and vendor data.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to establish and implement procedures and controls that minimise data entry errors.
  • Engage with project teams to address the impact of changes to master data creation and update procedures.
  • Coordinate daily operational management of vendor master data, ensuring efficient execution of all processes.
  • Build, update, and maintain vendor master records within Procurement and ERP systems.
  • Validate critical vendor information to safeguard data integrity.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving procurement systems and data management practices.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and audits of vendor data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on vendor data quality and performance.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities for supply chain projects and procurement systems.

What You Bring | What makes you perfect for the role?

  • 3-5 years' experience managing Material and Vendor Master data within a large organisation.
  • Familiarity with Source-to-Pay systems such as SAP, Ivalua, Coupa, or Icertis.
  • Clear and confident communicator, with the ability to influence others.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and documentation in your field.
  • Understanding of Category Management principles.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and customer-focused approach.
