  • Identify and analyze the critical path and near-critical paths on a continuous basis
  • Monitor float trends and highlight emerging schedule risks
  • Establish and maintain the baseline schedule and update cycles
  • Perform schedule impact assessments for scope changes, delays, and productivity issues

  • Prepare schedule narratives explaining drivers, risks, and mitigation options
  • Support project reviews, governance forums, and executive reporting
  • Develop and maintain the Schedule Management Plan
  • Mentor and guide project schedulers and discipline planners
  • Ensure consistent application of scheduling standards across the project

Required Experience and Expertise

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in project planning and scheduling on large capital projects
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing integrated master schedules on projects typically in the $500 million to $2 billion plus range
  • Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6, including schedule development, integration, progress updating, and critical path analysis
  • Proven capability building logic-driven schedules from early engineering through construction, commissioning, and handover
  • Strong experience integrating multi-discipline schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, and start-up activities
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing and integrating EPC or EPCm contractor schedules and major vendor or OEM schedules
  • Advanced understanding of engineering deliverables, design maturity sequencing, and IFC release strategies
  • Deep knowledge of long-lead equipment procurement cycles, manufacturing durations, inspection milestones, and logistics impacts
  • Strong familiarity with construction execution sequencing, installation logic, workface planning interfaces, and productivity considerations
  • Experience supporting commissioning, systems completion, and start-up schedule integration
  • Proven experience establishing schedule baselines, managing updates, and administering schedule change control processes
  • Demonstrated capability performing schedule impact assessments and time delay analyses
  • Experience supporting quantitative schedule risk analysis and Monte Carlo simulations is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of schedule quality metrics and forensic schedule review techniques
  • Experience operating within stage-gate or phased project governance frameworks
  • Ability to interface effectively with Project Directors, Project Managers, Project Controls, and contractor planning teams
