Position Responsibilities:

• Ability to diagnose and repair automotive systems - drivetrain, brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, air conditioning and computer systems and perform general automotive system repairs with no supervision
• Ability to accurately diagnose transmission problems, TCM, PCM, Solenoids, electrical issues.
• Transmission removal and installation
• Train, guide and assist other technicians in performing technical activities
• Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress is required
• Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques
• Professionally record findings so that repair costs are accurately estimated
• Maintain an organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• ASE / AAMCO / Other automotive certifications are preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working as an Automotive Technician
• The lead technician will be required to provide strong leadership skills and a customer-focused attitude as well as a high level of motivation and energy
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Own professional grade tools to service any general repair need
• Experience troubleshooting and conducting both mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling and lifting items over 50 lbs throughout the day
