Training Rate: $8.50/ hour for training and then released onto Commission. 28% Commission, Auto Gratuity of 20% (Per Service)

What You'll Do as a Massage Therapist:

As a Massage Therapist a Westgate Resorts you must have a thorough knowledge of multiple massage modalities, a general understanding of body treatments, and be willing to train on our spa's specific massage and body treatment offerings. Our world-class spa environment creates a relaxed atmosphere for you to be your best. You will demonstrate Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members.

• Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Effectively inform and educate our guests about specific wellness concerns.
• Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
• Perform prep work, properly clean and restock the room as required.
• Communicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, and retail, as well as programs, promotions, and/or discounts available.
• Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all guest requests.
• Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment.
• Regularly attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
• Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or general education degree GED.
• Must meet all licensing requirements to practice in the state of Utah.
• The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Follow instructions without close supervision.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
