As a Massage Therapist for Gozzer Ranch you will be part of creating the Gozzer Ranch Experience. You may be asked to perform other tasks (outside of your key areas of responsibility) from time to time based on business needs. Your key areas of responsibility are outlined below:

Key Area #1: Member Experience and Vibe

• Greet our members and member guests promptly upon arrival.
• Always provide our members and member guests with prompt and professional service.
• Exceed member and member guest expectations.
• Create 100% guest satisfaction by providing our Gozzer brand behavior and genuine hospitality.
• Give personal attention and take personal responsibility for a member and member guest experience.

Key Area #2: Teamwork

• Work intentionally to include ALL Gozzer Employees.
• Create good working relationships with ALL Gozzer Employees.
• Maintain a courteous attitude toward ALL Gozzer Employees.

Key Area #3: Daily Operations

• Meeting with clients: Massage therapists discuss clients' symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals to determine how massage can best help. They also create a relaxing atmosphere in their office.
• Evaluating clients: Massage therapists assess clients' muscle strength, joint quality, range of motion, and soft tissue condition.
• Developing treatment plans: Massage therapists recommend the best treatment based on each client's needs and may propose different types of massage.
• Performing massages: Massage therapists knead and rub muscles and soft tissues, applying different amounts of pressure to target specific points and improve circulation. They may also provide guidance on stretching, strengthening, and relaxation.
• Maintaining treatment records: Massage therapists document clients' conditions and progress.
• Maintaining massage areas: Massage therapists restock supplies and sanitize equipment.
• Learning and adapting to specific massages and protocols in the Gozzer Ranch Spa.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

• Massage therapists need to complete specialized training and gain relevant skills. This may include completing 500 hours of massage therapy courses and obtaining a current massage therapy certification.
• Massage therapists need to be able to stand for long periods, knead muscles for hours, and engage with clients.
• Massage therapists need to work closely with clients to identify their needs and provide a customized experience. They should have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of ethics and professional boundaries
• Comply with Idaho State Health and Wellness regulations.
• Massage therapists need to be able to alter their techniques to reflect the unique needs and wishes of each client.
• Possess basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work effectively with all personality types.
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions independently.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, morning, and nights.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and temperatures to include inside and outside areas.
• Ability to perform light physical tasks, exerting up to 25 lbs. of force on a frequent basis and up to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis independently or with help.
• Ability to perform such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, walking, sitting, and carrying.
