Massage Therapist

• Classification: Part-Time or Full-Time

A Massage Therapist is responsible for guiding clients through service offerings while help them choose the types of messages that meets their true need. Massage Therapists perform massages in a manner that prevents injuries to their own wrists and other parts of their body as well as the guests. Massage Therapist obtains a detailed history from guest health and maintains confidentiality. Maintain proper sanitation for treatment rooms and tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• A steward of the Woodhouse brand
• Enthusiastic and passionate about your craft
• Willingness to receive training on new procedures
• Perform exemplary services based on Woodhouse protocols

• In this position you will:

1. Ensure treatment room and areas are clean and sanitized using approved sanitizing product and procedures.
2. Maintain proper inventory in treatment rooms
3. Remove soiled laundry
4. Assist with laundry
5. Assist in opening and closing duties
6. Perform a variety of massage modalities including deep tissue and hot stone massage
7. Perform a variety of body treatments
8. Maintaining current license according to state rules and regulations
9. Report to management any maintenance issues
10. Perform Team Member services as part of cross-training education

Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.

Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.

Must have the flexibility to work Sundays.


Massage Therapist

• Have access to a clean, orderly, and sanitized environment

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Must have State License required
• Luxury Spa experience preferred
• Experienced Licensed Massage Therapist preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Must have excellent verbal communication skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members

REASONING ABILITY


Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to be on feet for most of the day
• Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Must be able to perform multiple services during shift
