Join Our Community: Cooley Dickinson Hospital - Inpatient Psychiatrist in Northampton, MA

Mass General Brigham Cooley Dickinson Hospital is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Part-Time (0.6 FTE) Inpatient Psychiatrist, who has completed an accredited psychiatry residency, to join our dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Service at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Massachusetts. Inpatient and consult experience preferred. Whether you're a seasoned physician or a recent graduate in Psychiatric Medicine, we welcome your inquiry.

What You’ll Do

  • This will be a part-time benefited position, 24 hours per week leading an inpatient team with a patient load of 8-11 patients.
  • You would also be sharing coverage for the psychiatric consultation service that covers the medical units and the emergency department.
  • Duties would also include student teaching and a minimum of 6 weeks of call per year, including phone coverage on weeknights and in person coverage for weekends and included holidays. (extra compensation is provided beyond base salary and for any holidays covered)
  • The patient population served is mainly adult patients with occasional pediatric patients seen in the emergency room.
