Position: Custodian - 8 paid hours per day with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch
Location: Mason Early Childhood Center
Shift: 1st Shift Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Job Responsibilities
1. Shall be responsible for following a daily schedule of cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming and dusting in all areas assigned by the supervisor.
2. Shall follow a daily schedule of cleaning furniture, shades, drapes, windows, restrooms, door and storage areas, etc. as assigned.
3. Shall report in writing to administration anything he/she observes which may be in need of repair or maintenance attention.
4. Responsible for securing the building at night.
5. Shall perform such other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or head custodian.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. Must have a high school diploma or GED
2. Must be able to pass a BCI and FBI criminal background check
3. Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, squat and lift in excess of 50 lbs on a routine and ongoing basis
4. Must have reliable transportation to travel between buildings/departments
5. Must a proven history of good attendance
Salary range is $19.31 to $28.05 depending on experience
