This position is based in Guatemala City for our Nutrition Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. As the Marketing & Trade Execution Manager is responsible for driving excellence in the execution of trade marketing, promotional, activation, and field implementation programs across the CADR clusters. The role ensures effective translation of commercial and brand strategies into high-quality in-market execution through strong coordination with Trade Marketing, Sales, Brand Teams, distributors, agencies, suppliers, Quality, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
This position is responsible for leading planning, coordination, governance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of executional activities across multiple countries. The role owns execution processes, agency management, promotional material deployment, field activation programs, project implementation, budget follow-up, and execution performance monitoring to ensure alignment between strategic objectives and market execution.
What You’ll Do
Trade Marketing Execution
Adapt regional trade marketing initiatives, campaigns, and execution guidelines to local market realities and customer requirements.
Ensure all trade activities are implemented according to agreed timelines, budgets, and execution standards.
Support sales teams and distributors with materials, execution guidelines, and follow-up to maximize in-market impact.
Conduct regular field visits to validate execution quality and identify improvement opportunities.
POS Materials & Visibility
Manage inventory and distribution of trade marketing materials across customers, distributors, and field teams.
Ensure visibility initiatives are executed according to approved brand and channel guidelines.
Monitor implementation through field audits, photographic evidence, and execution tracking.
Agency & Supplier Coordination
Serve as the day-to-day contact for agencies, promoters, merchandising teams, and external suppliers.
Prepare briefs, coordinate execution requirements, and follow up on deliverables.
Monitor agency performance and ensure compliance with agreed KPIs and service levels.
Coordinate training sessions and operational requirements for field personnel when needed.
Promotional Activities & Activations
Coordinate in-store events, sampling activities, sampling, tastings, product launches, and promotional initiatives.
Ensure availability of materials, products, promoter coverage, and execution resources.
Follow up on activation results and provide recommendations for future improvements.
Support the implementation of customer-specific promotional programs.
Budget & Operational Administration
Support the management of trade marketing budgets through proper tracking of expenditures and approved investments.
Coordinate local market purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and supplier documentation when needed according to the type of material being develop.
Ensure compliance with procurement, finance, and internal approval processes.
Maintain accurate records of trade marketing activities and investments.
Reporting & Execution Tracking
Track execution KPIs and consolidate performance reports.
Monitor program results, material utilization, and field execution indicators.
Prepare regular execution updates and presentations for local and regional stakeholders.
Identify execution gaps and coordinate corrective actions with the corresponding teams.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the local point of contact for the execution of regional initiatives.
Communicate market feedback, execution challenges, and improvement opportunities to regional and local teams.
HCP and DTC
Serve as the primary coordinator for events and activities involving end customers that are linked to HCP initiatives, ensuring alignment with the District Manager and Brand Managers as required.
Coordinate and execute Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brand initiatives in accordance with overall brand strategy and local market priorities, ensuring alignment with country-specific objectives and campaigns.
Required Qualifications
Must have a University degree in a business related field.
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in consumer goods and/or pharma companies in marketing / trade or commercial areas.
Must possess a strong local market Know how of local DTT - Traditional / UTT Channels /OTC (Pharmacies).
Advanced English communication skills are required. (conversational).
Digital Skills, Microsoft Office.
Travel: the position requires traveling approximately 25% of the time within the Cluster. (Guatemala, Honduras, Belize)
Field work: 50% of field work versus 50% of required office work.
