The Mars Petcare Operator- 1(2nd shift)ensures the safe and efficient flow of materials within the manufacturing operation, includingtimelymovement of raw materials, packaging and finished goodsusing forkliftsto support production schedules and operational efficiencyThis role works closely with warehouse,productionand thelogisticsteam
What are we looking for?
MinimumRequirements
High School Diploma,GEDorequivalenteducation
Passion to learn and develop within a technical role in manufacturing
Proficient in computer software’s including MS Office and email
Physical Requirements:
Perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300lbs)
Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, andoperatein confined spaces.
Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
Capable of working in hot,coldand wet conditions
Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
Wear proper personal protective equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or certification(s)
Previousmanufacturing or warehouse experience
Forklift or other equipmentcertification
Mechanically inclined
What will be your Key Responsibilities?
Safely transport materials and finished goods between the production and storage areasusing equipment such as forklifts.
Ensureaccurateloading, unloading, and documentation of materials
Support production schedules by delivering materials on time in the correct quantities.
Maintainsafeand clean working environment bycomplying withprocedures,rulesand regulations.
Accomplishes organization/team goals by accepting ownership foraccomplishingnew and different requests.
Any ad hoctasks assigned by Manager or Team lead
