Job Description

About us

Dyson is a global technology enterprise. We solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better.

Our eCommerce function plays a critical role in scaling Dyson’s technology to more consumers—combining commercial expertise, data and digital execution to drive growth across key online platforms.

About the role

As our Marketplace Manager for DACH, you will own the performance and growth of Dyson’s Marketplace channels across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

You will lead trading strategy, partner management and execution across key platforms such as Zalando, refurbed and eBay—driving revenue, optimising performance and ensuring a seamless consumer experience. Operating as a key commercial owner within the eCommerce team, you will align Marketplace strategy to broader regional objectives while delivering against ambitious growth targets.

This is a highly commercial, data-led role with clear ownership of trading outcomes, pricing strategy and forecasting.

You will:

  • Define and execute the Marketplace trading strategy in line with wider DACH eCommerce goals
  • Own commercial performance across Marketplace channels, driving revenue growth and sales targets
  • Manage and optimise partner relationships, ensuring strong execution and alignment with Dyson standards
  • Identify and onboard new Marketplace partners to unlock incremental growth opportunities
  • Lead promotional planning and campaign execution, delivering best-in-class customer experience
  • Own pricing strategy across Marketplaces, ensuring compliance and competitive positioning
  • Manage Marketplace marketing budgets across A-grade channels
  • Analyse performance using tools such as Adobe and Google Analytics, translating insight into action
  • Forecast demand and track performance, owning reporting and post-campaign evaluation
  • Partner cross-functionally with eCommerce, Supply Chain, Marketing and Customer Service teams
  • Ensure strong stock planning and availability in collaboration with supply teams
  • Continuously monitor market trends and adjust strategies to maximise performance

You will operate with autonomy, accountability and pace—owning both strategy and execution in a high-growth channel.

About you

  • A commercially driven eCommerce professional with a strong track record of delivering growth through Marketplace channels
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
  • At least four years of experience in commercial or sales roles, with strong exposure to eCommerce and Marketplaces
  • Track record of delivering online sales growth and achieving commercial targets
  • Strong trading mindset, with experience in pricing, promotions and forecasting
  • Advanced analytical capability, able to translate data into clear commercial decisions
  • Experience with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, SAP/Hybris or similar
  • Strong stakeholder management—able to influence internal teams and external partners
  • Structured, proactive and results-oriented, with a high level of ownership
  • Confident communicator, able to align multiple stakeholders and resolve competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce trends, technologies and best practices
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)

About Dyson

Dyson solves real-world problems and creates better products through the application of engineering, science, design and creativity. It is a family-owned, global technology company, founded by Sir James Dyson who remains at the helm alongside his son Jake.

Since inventing the first cyclonic bagless vacuum cleaner, the DC01, Dyson has consistently invested in research and development to improve its products and technologies radically. Dyson offers products across a growing range of areas: floorcare, air purification, robotics, haircare including formulations, lighting, hand drying, and most recently audio. Dyson continues to expand into new areas.

Today, Dyson sells products in more than 80 markets, has 450 Dyson stores worldwide and is available in all major technology and beauty retailers. Dyson has global headquarters in Singapore and major technology campuses in Singapore, the UK, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Its global team of engineers, scientists and software developers are focused on developing technology-enabled products which work better and which people love to use. Key areas of focus have included high-speed electric digital motors, sensing and vision systems, robotics, machine learning and aerodynamics.

Beyond products, to encourage an inventive future, Dyson is also inspiring the next generation of engineers and inventors through the Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology, the James Dyson Foundation and the James Dyson Award.

The Dyson family applies its problem-solving approach in other fields, and established Dyson Farming in 2012. It is one of the largest farming businesses in the UK, extending to 36,000 acres across Lincolnshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Somerset. It is a family-owned enterprise unlike any other, focussed on long-term investment in British farming and the countryside to grow tasty and nutritious food.
