About Us

Queensland Music Festival (QMF) is a pioneering not-for-profit arts, music and cultural tourism organisation that connects people to place through music, culture and community. With over two decades of impact, from major festivals to regional Music Trails, our work spans Queensland.

Our flagship initiative, QLD Music Trails, launched in 2023 with a bold vision: to transform
Queensland’s extraordinary landscapes into world-class music destinations and build a lasting cultural legacy towards the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In 2026, QMF will deliver more than 15 events for live audiences of over 15,000 people — and we’re looking for a Marketing & Ticketing Coordinator to support the delivery of these experiences.

About the Opportunity (Fixed-term 6 months, Full Time)

This is a hands-on coordination role within the Marketing & Brand team, ideal for an early-career marketer or someone looking to deepen their experience in ticketing, events, arts and cultural marketing.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the operational delivery of campaigns and live events,
particularly across ticketing support, customer experience, merchandise and marketing administration. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being in the detail, keeping things moving, and contributing to a seamless audience experience.

Working closely with the GM Marketing & Brand and the broader marketing team, you’ll help ensure ticketing and ticket holder support, customer service, campaigns and events are delivered smoothly, efficiently and with care.

What You’ll Be Doing

Ticketing & Audience Experience

  • Support ticketing set-up, maintenance and reporting
  • Assist with on-ground box office operations during events
  • Manage ticket holder enquiries via phone and inbox
  • Coordinate complimentary tickets and accreditation lists
  • Support to send VIP event and stakeholder invitations

Merchandise

  • Coordinate merchandise ordering and stock management
  • Maintain stock levels and conduct stocktakes
  • Support on-ground merchandising as required

Marketing & Communications Support

  • Provide website, email comms, CRM and social media admin support
  • Maintain campaign tracking and administration in Airtable
  • Support the coordination of marketing activities and timelines

Administration

  • Manage shared inboxes and respond to general enquiries
  • Process invoices and assist with budget tracking
  • Support general marketing administration

Partnership Support

  • Assist with partnership contract creation
  • Track partner deliverables and maintain records in Airtable
  • Help coordinate information across marketing and partnerships

About You

You bring:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in ticketing, marketing, events, administration or a related field
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends during events

You’re:

  • Practical and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable working behind the scenes to support delivery
  • A strong team player who enjoys contributing to shared outcomes
  • Passionate about arts, music, events or cultural experiences

Tools & Experience (Desirable)

  • Project management tools such as Asana or Airtable
  • Ticketing systems such as Ferve and Megatix
  • POS Systems such as Square
  • CMS platforms (WordPress or similar)
  • CRM systems (HubSpot or similar)
  • Paid media platforms (working knowledge)
  • Analytics and reporting tools

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
