Overview

NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Support Specialist to join the Marketing & Communications team at our corporate headquarters in Birmingham, AL 35216.

The Part-Time Marketing Support Specialist supports the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives, events, departmental operations, and fulfillment needs. This role is ideal for an early-career marketing professional who is organized, dependable, and ready to take ownership of assigned projects in a fast-paced environment.

Working closely with the Marketing and Communications team, the coordinator will help ensure materials, events, campaigns, and departmental requests are completed accurately, professionally, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics and materials for conferences, recruiting events, employee events, and other departmental initiatives.
  • Organize, prepare, package, and ship marketing materials, promotional items, signage, and event supplies.
  • Maintain inventory of marketing materials and promotional merchandise.
  • Coordinate printing and production requests with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Assist with event registration, scheduling, setup, breakdown, and on-site support as needed.
  • Track project deadlines, deliveries, inventory, and outstanding requests.
  • Support the development and proofreading of basic marketing materials, presentations, emails, and promotional content.
  • Update spreadsheets, project trackers, calendars, contact lists, and departmental records.
  • Assist with purchase requests, invoices, shipping documentation, and other administrative processes.
  • Help coordinate branded materials and other resources needed for marketing activities.
  • Perform other marketing and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Details

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, public relations, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with multiple team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, project-management platforms, or email-marketing tools is a plus.
