What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Vice President, Marketing Strategy & Product Marketing, AP Automation within our Corpay Marketing division. This position falls under our Corpay Payables line of business and is located in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will define and drive the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging for AP automation. This leader will operate at both strategic and executional levels, lead high-performing teams, serve as the primary liaison with the business, execute marketing programs that create sales opportunities, apply AI-enabled marketing capabilities to improve speed and performance, and ensure Corpay’s differentiation with mid-market and enterprise audiences. You will report directly to the SVP of Strategic Marketing and regularly collaborate with multiple departments.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Marketing Strategy Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Operate as a player-coach: balance leadership responsibilities with individual contributor work, including direct ownership of strategic initiatives and critical deliverables.
  • Partner with the EVP of Marketing Strategy and other senior leaders to align AP Automation marketing strategy with broader revenue and business objectives.
  • Serve as the direct liaison between Marketing and the AP Automation business.

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Define the go-to-market strategy and plan for AP automation at the mid-market and enterprise segments.
  • Execute tactics to create opportunities for Sales against this plan.
  • Develop and refine messaging, positioning, and value propositions that differentiate Corpay in a crowded fintech landscape.
  • Design and execute data-driven test plans to refine messaging and maximize pipeline conversion.
  • Identify and deploy AI-enabled marketing capabilities to improve messaging, content development, campaign execution, audience targeting, sales enablement, and performance measurement.
  • Own product launches end-to-end, coordinating with Product, Sales, and Demand Generation teams to ensure impact.

Sales Enablement & Revenue Support

  • Build and scale sales enablement programs, including playbooks, pitch decks, training sessions, and competitive intelligence.
  • Partner with the Sales leadership team to ensure sales representatives are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to effectively position and sell Corpay solutions.
  • Monitor pipeline and revenue performance to measure marketing’s impact and optimize programs accordingly.

Market & Customer Insights

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of customer needs, buying behaviors, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to inform strategy.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer across the organization, ensuring customer insights shape product roadmaps and go-to-market plans.
  • Represent Corpay at industry events, customer meetings, and partner engagements as a product marketing thought leader.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product Management on roadmaps, market requirements, and product adoption strategies.
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation and Corporate Marketing to build campaigns that drive awareness, pipeline, and customer expansion.
  • Align with Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure market opportunities are maximized.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Extensive experience in B2B Strategic Marketing (10+ years preferred), including 5+ years leading teams with direct people management responsibilities.
  • Proven success in B2B fintech, payments, SaaS, or strategy consulting serving B2B technology/payments clients. Experience in AP automation is strongly preferred, with a track record of launching products, shaping go-to-market strategy, and driving measurable revenue impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams while also contributing directly as a hands-on leader.
  • Expertise in go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and sales enablement.
  • Practical experience applying AI in marketing, including content strategy, campaign execution, audience segmentation, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, workflow automation, or marketing performance analysis.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and build strong relationships with organizational stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with proven ability to translate data into insights and action.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
