Responsibilities
The Strategic Analytics & Measurement Analyst leads strategy-driven analytics focused on understanding customers, business performance, and the factors influencing Marketing outcomes. This role identifies emerging trends, conducts exploratory and strategic research, develops measurement approaches, and translates complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
The Analyst serves as an analytics partner across Marketing, bringing together customer, audience, geographic, product, brand, competitive, and industry insights to inform Marketing strategy and investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Marketing Strategy and cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and evaluate foundational Marketing strategies aligned with enterprise objectives
- Translate business and marketing strategy into measurement strategies, KPI frameworks, and executive recommendations
- Evaluate overarching audience and geographic performance to identify opportunities, assess alignment with targeting strategies, and uncover potential gaps between strategy and execution
- Apply advanced analytics/statistics to uncover meaningful relationships, behaviors, and performance drivers
- Analyze business trends, market conditions, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape to provide context for Marketing performance and inform strategic planning
- Interpret complex analytical findings into clear, compelling stories and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in an analytics-oriented discipline such as Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
- Professional experience in analytics with demonstrated ability to apply analytical thinking to complex business questions
- Proven proficiency with analytical programming and data querying tools such as SQL, Python, and/or SAS
- Experience with audience insights, media measurement, and digital analytics platforms—such as VideoAmp, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Campaign Manager 360—as well as experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), preferred
- Knowledgeable in brand measurement methodologies, brand lift studies and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), preferred
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders at varying levels of technical expertise and leadership
- Ability to establish strong working relationships and effectively collaborate across teams, departments, and external partners
- Ability to independently navigate ambiguity, prioritize analytical opportunities, and move strategic questions from exploration through recommendation

Our Benefits
Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!
- Potential starting salary range: $107,000 - $142,000
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
