Marketing Specialist, Southeast Asia
As part of the South Asia Pacific(SAP)Marketing team, the Marketing Specialist, SoutheastAsia willdrivethe business strategy,aportfolio ofkey localinitiativesacrossevents, digitalmarketingand training programs You will manage programs end-to-end from planning and budgeting through execution and post-campaign review – working closely with internal stakeholders,agenciesand vendors to ensure delivery is on time, on budget and to high standard.
This role is ideal foran individual who ishighly organized, comfortablewithmultiple priorities,workingindependentlyandconfident in collaborating across teams. You will work closely withSoutheastAsiaSalesTeam to drive multi-channel marketing campaigns and lead generations programs that support our sales & marketingobjectives
This role will report to the Marketing Manager, South Asia Pacific (SAP) and will support regional projects as needed.
This role is based in Bangkok,Thailand
You willbe requiredto travel both withinSoutheastAsiaand internationally, up to an estimated 40% of the time,for internal meetings,major tradeshowsand events around the region.
What you will do:
In addition to the execution of the strategy for the identified countries, you will manage:
Partner Marketing (Channels & Distributors)
Partner with the Channel/Partner organisation to design and execute go-to-market programs through distributors and partners.
Drive co-marketing strategy andmaintainthe right balance between co-marketing with partners and direct engagement with end customers.
Localise partner communications for the region, including newsletters, partner onboarding content, local website content, and always-on content marketing.
Demand Generation
Work with the Marketing Manager (SAP) and the broader APAC Marketing team to roll out relevant segment-specific campaigns in the region.
Share market/segment insights with APAC Marketing to inform campaign planning, messaging, and prioritisation.
Track and report performance, including lead generation, lead quality, and conversion within key segments.
Events (Online & Offline)
Ensure the Axis brand experience and solution messaging are consistently represented at key industry events and Axis-owned events (e.g., customer conferences).
Own the planning and execution of the annual calendar of customer, channel, partner, and internalevents (virtual and in-person), including budget, vendors,logistics, and post-event reporting.
Axis Experience Centre (AEC)
Roll out and manage the AEC marketing program as a key brand experience platform.
Use the AEC to generate and influence demand across distributors, partners, technology integration partners, end customers, and media/press.
Review AEC utilisation and define best practices and improvements to enhance experience and impact.
Axis Communications Academy
Manage Academy and Learning Modules for theSoutheastAsia (SEA)markets
Market the course curriculum and position Axis Academy as an aspirational learning platform.
Partner with the relevant Trainer(s) to gather feedback and ensure training content and delivery meet market needs.
Provide insights and recommendations to shape the training roadmap based on field feedback and market trends
Qualification and Experience
Degree inMarketing or related field
Minimum12years of experience in a marketing role (ideallyB2BMarketing)
Strongproficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite,experience withmarketing automation and CRM platformssuch as Salesforce,Pardot,orEloquais essential.
Proficiencyinwritten and spoken Englishis important,and anyadditionalregional languages are an advantage.
Multi-faceted experienceacrossdifferent marketingdisciplines (e.g.partner marketing, demand generation)isa strong advantage
Understanding of common technology subjects is highly preferred
