About JLG, an Oshkosh company

JLG began in 1969, when our founder, John L. Grove set out to resolve growing safety concerns in the construction industry. Since then we have been committed to understanding the challenges and delivering innovative solutions to the access market. We partner with customers to provide quality equipment, training opportunities and trusted support within the access industry. We are a global company, and our products—including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles and accessories—can be found all over the world.

The Marketing Specialist Lead, Field Marketing will lead the planning and execution of high-impact field events and customer experiences across the United States, partnering closely with field sales to support business priorities and strengthen customer relationships.

This highly visible role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, sales and local market execution. The successful candidate will translate broader marketing strategies into relevant, customer-first experiences, from executive events and hospitality programs to customer briefings and field activations.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Deliver white-glove customer experiences for executive events, VIP programs, customer visits and other high-touch engagements.
  • Provide onsite leadership and support to ensure seamless execution and a consistent JLG brand experience.
  • Manage multiple concurrent events and priorities with strong organization, attention to detail and proactive communication.
  • Support customer briefings at JLG facilities, including planning, logistics and execution.
  • Lead field marketing communication and enablement, providing sales teams with the information and resources needed to effectively participate in and support field programs.
  • Evaluate event performance and capture insights to continuously improve future programs.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the United States and provide onsite event support, including occasional evenings and weekends.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in field marketing, experiential marketing, event marketing or a related discipline, including direct responsibility for customer - facing programs.
  • Ability to travel 50%.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using CRM, event management or marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience measuring event effectiveness and connecting field marketing activity to customer engagement, sales opportunities or other business outcomes.
  • Background in manufacturing, construction, heavy equipment or another complex B2B industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex events from initial planning through onsite execution and post-event follow-up.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs, budgets, vendors and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels.
  • Experience managing external event, hospitality, venue and transportation partners.
  • Experience developing and managing event budgets and negotiating with vendors.
