The opportunity:

We are now searching for a talented Marketing Specialist to join the AIA Group and Retail Insurance team for a 12-month max-term contract in either Melbourne or Sydney.

You will support our Group and Retail insurance marketing team, to deliver on the strategic marketing plans across these segments.

- support retention and strategic growth

The role will work closely with a variety of stakeholders across the business including distribution, product, operations, corporate communications and brand; as well as external partners and agencies.

To do this successfully you will:

  • Create and execute communications (copywriting, briefing creative services, technology, and digital teams) including thought leadership, wellbeing propositions, product enhancements, and other mandatory communications
  • Create, manage, and drive delivery of all supporting collateral including product benefits, fact sheets, proposition flyers/guides and related digital content
  • Support the marketing team on initiatives to drive acquisition, retention and improved education for partners and customers, ensuring communications are clear, consistent, well executed and aligned to AIA values.
  • Execute CVP expression and market messaging and hierarchies. Proactively identify opportunities to harmonise communications against value propositions – specifically demonstrating use of customer insights and segmentation.
  • Maintain brand guidelines, creative platforms and messaging to ensure effective and consistent marketing execution.
  • Keep up to date and understand the super and insurance environment to strategically communicate AIA messaging and thought leadership.
  • Monitor campaign performance in relation to targets and financial forecasts on a regular basis – highlighting deviations and recommending and implementing solutions to ensure objectives/targets are met

Successful applications will demonstrate:

You will be a talented marketing professional with experience working in a large and complex organisation preferably with experience in insurance or wider financial services industries.

You are a natural communicator with the ability to manage and build effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. You can think on your feet, your attention to detail is second to none and you can manage priorities with ease.
