The Marketing Specialist for our brand portfolio is a curious, entrepreneurial thinker that will act as a champion for our customers including our DIY, DIFM and increasingly our Pro. Their day-to-day activities are bringing customer insights & data to life creatively, in a way that builds a connection with new and existing customers. They will support campaign strategies across paid and owned channel while coordinate campaign details with internal partners. With attention to detail and a desire to create scroll-stopping campaigns, they’ll be responsible for seamless campaign execution for their portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Execution

  • Provide planning support for the marketing manager as it pertains to key marketing campaigns
  • Support detailed implementation and communication of brand specific marketing plans to cross functional teams (Media, Legal, UX, Production etc.)
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to draft briefs and build brand marketing plans
  • Act as the main point of contact for all category-specific advertising production consisting of campaign details, creative proofing approvals and scheduling among various other day-to-day responsibilities.  
  • Responsible for end-to-end execution of integrated brand marketing programs, ensuring timely feedback by adhering to our processes to ensure campaigns launch on time
  • Be curious and action oriented when new opportunities and campaign pivots arise to react to market and customer needs
  • Maintain brand marketing calendar and supporting materials
  • Help to support The Home Depot brand values across all marketing content and communications
  • Support additional projects for the marketing team as required

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel to Store Support Centre for Hybrid days
  • Attend store walks as needed (Home Depot, Competitors and non-Competitors)
  • Occasional attendance at photo/video shoots and events as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended Sitting

Working Conditions:

  • Working in an office and home setting: computer work, camera on virtual meetings, taking support calls
  • Working in stores and/or the Innovation Center
  • Must wear mandatory attire when required (i.e. Steel toe boots, Aprons)

Minimum Education:

  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma preferably in business or marketing

Minimum Years of Work Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of previous marketing, creative or social media experience

Minimum Leadership Experience:

  • N/A

Certifications:

  • None

Other Requirements/Assets:

  • Experience in sports, partnerships or brand marketing is an asset.
  • Advanced capability in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Bilingual (English/French) will be considered an asset

The pay range for this position is between $62,200.00 - $70,100.00
