Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Marketing Specialist on a temporary basis on our Consumer Products team up to 12 months. This position is a hybrid opportunity and will be based any where in Western Canada.

The Marketing Specialist supports the coordination and execution of HABS (Home and Building Solutions) marketing and promotional initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders, supporting digital commerce platforms, and supports key events such as the annual HABS tradeshow. What you’ll do:

• Gather and analyze competitor, supplier, and sales/POS data to identify trends and provide insights that support HABS promotional programs and decision-making.
• Supports the planning and execution of the Building Western Canada Conference/Tradeshow, including event logistics, vendor and sponsorship coordination, communications, and stakeholder support to ensure a successful event experience.
• Coordinate HABS marketing programs and communications by developing materials, collaborating with stakeholders, and maintaining accurate and accessible marketing resources for Local Co-ops.
• Support HABS digital commerce and promotional initiatives by enhancing platform experiences and developing communications and resources that enable effective execution across Local Co-ops and Zone teams.

Who you’ll work with:

The Team: You will work closely with Home and Building Solutions Team, will report into the Senior Marketing Specialist, Shared Services. This team strives to cultivate a supportive, welcoming, and collaborative culture where team members are committed to delivering quality work on time while maintaining a friendly and relaxed environment.

The Collaborators: You will work closely with teams across our Consumer Products business unit and collaborate with partners throughout the organization, including Marketing, Promotions, and Pricing teams.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:

• Have 1-3 years of relevant experience, preference to retail focused marketing
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• Experience with web platform asset development.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and SharePoint.
• Are familiar with of marketing and promotions and retail experience from food convenience or home centers.
