Job Description:

Under the direction of the Advertising Manager, the incumbent is responsible for assisting and providing support in planning and implementing of marketing department initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Request ad mat & media requirements from Tour Manager & Artist Agents to support initiatives for marketing Entertainment acts for Hard Rock Live & The Comedy Club, among other venues.
  • Develop & obtain approvals for Media Plan & Creative assets to support entertainment
  • Represent marketing at weekly meetings, leading the conversation & maintaining status documents/ Coordinate production schedule, tracking and delivery.
  • Maintain the Brand Standards for Seminole Gaming & Hard Rock International
  • Reconcile Post-Media invoices, tear sheets & reporting
  • Fully execute & write creative briefs to the agency for all advertising needs including mailers and all collateral pieces.
  • Content writing for advertising materials including mailers, eBlasts and promotional material/collateral.
  • Proofreading content throughout all advertising channels (mailers, vouchers, posters, rack cards, brochures, digital etc.).
  • Install and remove property posters and backlites.
  • Update & audit signage throughout property.
  • Coordinate all aspects of advertising, including but not limited to, digital, direct mail, radio, TV, Outdoor, print and social media.
  • Interface with all department heads to ensure timely development of creative materials for all property promotions.
  • Ensure advertising run lists are accurate and deadlines are maintained and monitored.
  • Prepare and enter purchase orders for services from agencies and vendors; maintaining purchase logs.
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots and prepare shot lists.
  • Maintain property videos and photography logs and files.
  • Coordinate creation, delivery and distribution for non-casino related projects including, but not limited to, Poker Room, the spa, food and beverage, hotel operations, valet, Hard Rock Live and Hard Rock Stadium. Projects will include direct mail, special event invitations, ads, menus, key cards, print ads, directional signage, backlites, rack cards, etc.
  • Coordinate outdoor advertising production and installation. Route and maintain all billboard contracts.
  • Reconcile for accuracy all vendor invoices.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy files of all completed production jobs.
  • Develop PowerPoint updates to Staff Meetings and Campaign Overviews.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
  • Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication
  • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Three (3) years of experience in similar position and a BS or BA in Business, Advertising, Marketing or related field required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Above average organizational skills.
  • Must be an above copy writer and proofreader.
  • Must be able to analyze marketing and promotions data.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office-Excel, Power Point and Word.
  • Must have ability to multi-task and work under pressure with quick problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of media buying, reviewing media related summaries, flowcharts and media schedules.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including over 40 hours, nights, weekends and holidays may be required.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
