Job Description

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing marketing projects from beginning to end. Projects include developing advertising and collateral for the ESS meeting sales division, group sales across Caesars Entertainment’s U.S. portfolio, which covers nearly 40 Caesars Entertainment U.S. properties.

  • Internal communications.
  • On-boarding of new team members.
  • Support, plan and execute events.
  • Entertain press
  • Travel occasionally to tradeshows or press events
  • Create reports, spreadsheets, outlines, PowerPoint presentations, etc…as needed.
  • Assist with internal and external requests for materials.
  • Any other duties, as assigned.
  • Comfortable working independently, but able to function effectively as part of a team. Comfort working with superiors, clients, media, partners, vendors and associates at all levels.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance and professional manner.
  • Must have solid proficiency with MS Office software – particularly Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint; proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) a plus.
  • Auditory and verbal ability needed for telephone usage
  • Visual abilities/tolerance needed to complete detailed paperwork and use a computer for extended periods of time
  • Able to sit, stand and walk for long periods
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or greater in communications, journalism, marketing, business or related concentration.
  • 1-5 years’ marketing experience with practical responsibilities; agency experience a plus; business-to-business experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with established marketing practices and principles.
  • Skilled communicator with excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Well organized and detail-oriented with superb project management skills.
  • Able to speak, read and write English fluently.
