The Opportunity

The Marketing Specialist, US HCP Marketing works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

What You’ll Work On

  • Provides operational, marketing and digital platform support across PCP and endocrinology teams and serves as a key communicator with the field team

  • Responsible for the development and creation of marketing resources. Works with agencies and graphic design partners to build engaging materials that comply with brand standards and Regulatory requirements.

  • Manage the print and fulfillment of Marketing materials, ensuring approved materials are delivered to the end user in an efficient manner. Collect reports on print fulfillment and look for trends to optimize and manage spend

  • Lead the monthly Field Insights Team (FIT) meeting to capture field feedback on marketing strategies and resource plans. Facilitate a two-way dialog with marketing and sales to maintain a strong collaboration. Demonstrate curiosity and connection with the FIT team throughout the year and capture feedback. Send a monthly summary to Leadership of feedback collected.

  • Maintain the Veeva CLM library of marketing resources, assuring that materials are current and approved. Communicate to the US Field Teams, announcing when new materials are available, and when items need to be removed from distribution as needed.

  • Lead various priority projects as needed to support timely field communications, launches or other marketing initiatives

  • Organize and execute vendor agreements - Responsible for vendor management including vendor onboarding, vendor agreements, generation of purchase orders, and budget tracking

  • Comply with regulations and requirements, company policy, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments

  • Project management skills—ability to manage multiple projects and programs and can successfully orchestrate the appropriate stakeholders to support timely execution of initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills—ability to synthesize information into key insights and excels at verbal communications with various levels of leadership
  • Strong team player—ability to work as a key member of the marketing team who is accountable to global strategic marketing leadership team as well as the product division and geographical marketing
  • Analytical skills—ability to apply internal and external insights to adjust forecasts, plans and marketing strategy as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in HCP marketing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to interact and communicate in a professional manner with external customers and vendors
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, powerpoint, excel, and database management
  • Familiar with a variety of marketing activities, practices, and regulations preferred
  • Familiar with the healthcare industry and regulations preferred

The base pay for this position is

$81,500.00 – $141,300.00
