The Marketing Specialist is tasked with developing and executing marketing strategies and initiatives to enhance the organization's brand, products, and services. They collaborate closely with the Patient Experience Officer (PXO) to maintain consistency in messaging and branding across all platforms. Additionally, the Marketing Specialist works with various departments within the organization to gather information and craft effective marketing campaigns.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes marketing plans and strategies in collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Public Relations.
  • Creates compelling content and graphics for marketing materials, including print, digital, social media, websites, newsletters, reports, white papers, and flyers.
  • Collaborates with other departments to gather insights and information for marketing campaigns.
  • Tracks and analyzes the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Assists in the planning and execution of events and promotional activities.
  • Ensures brand consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.
  • Stays updated on industry trends and recommends new strategies or tactics for the organization.
  • Communicates with external stakeholders, including clients and partners, to promote the organization's brand and offerings.
  • Develops and maintains website content to keep it current, engaging, and effective.
  • Designs and layouts engaging newsletters to communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Creates and assists with the development of flyers and other promotional materials for events and activities.
  • Writes and edits press releases, articles, and other written materials for publication.
  • Assists in managing social media platforms and developing engaging content to grow the organization's online presence.
  • Maintains relations with media outlets and establishes opportunities for press coverage.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Marketing and Public Relations to establish marketing budgets and tracks expenses.
  • Creates audio and video content for marketing purposes.
  • Coordinates live events such as webinars, workshops, and conferences.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Minimum

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Communication or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Marketing, Advertising, Communication or related field.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with website content management systems.
  • Must be able to successfully pass the Employee Health Program and background investigation.

Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Certifications:

  • Demonstrates creativity and strategic thinking in developing marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, such as SEO, social media advertising, and email marketing.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics and reporting tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to speak the Navajo language and/or familiarity with the Navajo Way.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use arms and hands to reach and grasp objects; and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee occasionally is required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:

Work is generally performed in an office with a moderate noise level. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
