ABOUT THE ROLE Our client, an established commercial vehicle and truck dealership in Pretoria, is seeking a creative, results-driven Marketing and Social Media Specialist to manage and execute its marketing activities across multiple digital platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the brand, growing online engagement, generating quality business leads and supporting overall business growth through innovative marketing initiatives. This opportunity suits an energetic marketer with motor industry experience and a passion for content creation, social media management, graphic design and digital advertising. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and implement marketing campaigns that support sales and business objectives. • Manage all social media platforms, including content planning, posting, engagement and performance tracking. • Create compelling marketing content, including graphics, videos, advertisements and promotional material. • Design and produce creative content aligned with the company brand. • Manage and maintain the company website, including content updates and improvements. • Plan and run digital advertising campaigns across relevant online platforms. • Monitor marketing performance and report on campaign effectiveness. • Generate and nurture leads through digital marketing activities. • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels. • Identify new opportunities to increase market visibility and customer engagement. Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent. • A qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or a related field will be advantageous. • 3 to 5 years’ relevant marketing experience. • Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing. • Experience in the passenger or commercial vehicle industry will be highly advantageous. • Website management and/or website development experience. • Strong graphic design and content creation skills. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES • Excellent content creation and copywriting ability. • Strong graphic design skills and creative flair. • Experience with social media advertising and campaign management. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once. • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. • Creative, proactive and solution-driven approach. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
