Position Summary
The Marketing Services Specialist serves as the bridge between marketing strategy and execution. The role is a blend of project management, creative coordination, brand stewardship, vendor management, and internal client support responsibilities that influence business results, community impact, and brand perception. The Marketing Services Specialist coordinates the execution of marketing initiatives that support retail operations, mission services, fundraising, and community engagement. This position serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, creative resources, and external vendors to ensure marketing projects are delivered on time, on brand, and within budget.
Responsibilities
Marketing Project Coordination
- Coordinate the development and execution of marketing campaigns across retail stores, donation centers, workforce programs, and community initiatives.
- Manage marketing project timelines, deliverables, and workflows to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments and the marketing team to identify and prioritize marketing needs.
- Track campaign progress and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Creative Services Management
- Coordinate the creation and production of marketing materials, including print, digital, social media, signage, and promotional assets.
- Review marketing materials for accuracy, brand consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Maintain an organized library of marketing assets and templates.
Brand Management
- Support the implementation and enforcement of Goodwill brand standards across all locations and communication channels.
- Ensure marketing materials align with organizational messaging, visual identity, and strategic objectives.
- Assist in developing marketing resources and toolkits for internal teams.
Vendor & Production Management
- Coordinate relationships with printers, promotional product vendors, advertising partners, and other marketing service providers.
- Obtain quotes, manage purchase orders, and monitor production schedules.
- Ensure quality control of printed and promotional materials.
Content & Communications Support
- Assist with content development for social media, email marketing, website updates, and internal communications.
- Coordinate storytelling projects that highlight Goodwill's mission and impact.
- Support community engagement and event promotion efforts.
- Respond to Customer Service email inquiries and social media comments.
Data & Reporting
- Maintain marketing calendars and campaign documentation.
- Track campaign metrics and prepare reports on marketing performance.
- Assist in analyzing customer, donor, and community engagement data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support budget tracking and expense reconciliation for marketing initiatives.
Retail & Community Support
- Collaborate with retail operations teams to support store openings, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and fundraising initiatives.
- Coordinate marketing support for community events, job fairs, donation drives, and mission-related programs.
- Ensure stores and program locations receive marketing materials in a timely manner, including visiting stores on a monthly basis.
Other
- Support special events as necessary, including those that take place before or after normal business hours and/or on different days than normally scheduled.

Environmental Factors
- Majority of duties performed in an office environment with regulated temperatures. Other duties may be performed outside the office environment where no cooling or heating will be available. Exposure to extreme heat, cold, dust and humidity may be a possibility

- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Prolonged standing, walking, reaching, stooping, lifting, pulling, carrying, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer.

QualificationsEducation, Experience and Requirements
Required
- High school diploma required.
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing coordination, project management, communications, or creative services.
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and marketing platforms.
- Solid professional writing skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop a plus.
- Reliable access to a vehicle with state-mandated auto insurance coverage.
- High level of integrity, business ethics, adaptability, and flexibility.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Some college a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish a plus.
