Job Description

Marketing Science Analyst

Brief This role is in the organization to execute on the account and office-level vision and priorities.

Output is to own Marketing Science deliverables across a broad range of initiatives.

Career Development is typically provided by Marketing Science Leads but can be adapted to suit an account and/or office location.

Nature of role is that of a ‘learner’: here to understand Marketing Science at an intermediate level and own project contribution requirements for client-facing deliverables. Core Responsibilities Skills

Developed

  • Demonstrated experience with at least two of the following: testing and optimization, statistics, data visualization, tagging, and reporting
  • Ability to communicate complex analysis in an effective, easy-to-understand manner and to communicate effectively with day-to-day clients; can compose client communications with clear grammar and punctuation
  • Ability to help colleagues sell analytics work
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables with the ability to seamlessly transition among them
  • Ability to present low to mid-level complexity projects confidently to internal stakeholders • An understanding of: [as relevant to each role]:

o The main forms of digital marketing and how they differ o How traditional advertising is planned and executed

o Different types of media o Principles of Search Engine Marketing o How CRM activity is planned and executed o How market research can improve analytics work Skills

o Proficient understanding of Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, media tools and a basic understanding of how to navigate challenges o Intermediate level knowledge and working experience of Agency technology

  • Solve well-scoped problems with direction
  • Work closely with and mentor Associate Analysts
  • Assist in the ideation, development, and execution of measurement strategies and frameworks
