This secondment is a high-impact opportunity to lead our commercial early career talent and recruiting strategy and provide (1) strategic oversight of three commercial talent development programs (MBA Marketing Rotational Program, Commercial Associate Rotational Program and Commercial Pfizer Futures summer program) (2) direct people management oversight of MRP program and colleagues (3) people management oversight of 2-3 early career program leads.
You’ll work at the center of a dynamic ecosystem—rotational colleagues, alumni and mentors, school relationship managers, People Experience (PX), advisory board members, and senior commercial leaders—bringing diverse perspectives together with excellence and clarity. This role is a people leader with real breadth—ideal for someone who loves coaching and influencing.

HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT
Own the commercial/marketing early talent strategy, program leadership and team development
Lead the strategic oversight of three commercial talent development programs, ensuring a strong, future-ready pipeline across rotational and internship cohorts.
Coach and mentor Marketing Rotational Managers and Commercial Associates fostering performance, development, and a high-impact team culture at scale.
Direct people leader for 2-3 early career program leads.
Build and execute the marketing recruiting strategy (early career)
Maintain and successfully deploy a tiered recruiting strategy for target MBA universities, aligned to desired marketer capabilities and tailored by school.
Work closely with the team to provide oversight of the Commercial Pfizer Futures summer program recruiting approach in partnership with PX.
Partner with PX to identify and form strategic relationships with target universities for the Commercial Pfizer Futures summer program.
Lead undergraduate rotational program strategy, governance, and evolution (with data-backed recommendations)
Co-design the newly approved Commercial Associate Rotational Program rotation structure, training and development needs and cohort engagement.
Drive program development by identifying insights, recommendations, and securing endorsement through governance forums (e.g., advisory board/senior leader partnership).
Establish/advance success metrics for newly approved Commercial Associate Rotational Program.
Own advisory board operating rhythm: agenda setting, recommendation development/presentations, and follow-through on actions.
Maintain a macro view of talent/recruiting/marketing trends while staying close to what resonates with key candidate segments.
Own the rotational talent lifecycle and experience (candidate → alumni)
Partner with commercial leaders to forecast talent needs and align hiring, development, and placement to future priorities for the MBA Marketing Rotational Program colleagues and newly approved Commercial Associate Rotational Program colleagues.
Develop and coach MBA Marketing Rotational colleagues to successfully unlock their potential, prepare for program transition and/or next six-month rotational experience.
Launch and successfully support Commercial Associate Rotational Program colleagues for their first rotation.
Build culture, community, and inclusive engagement at scale
Oversee development of a strong community through networking, learning, and career development experiences (in partnership with operations/program leads).
Assess/implement curated coaching, mentoring, and onboarding tools/curricula across early talent programs (where in scope).
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 8+years ofexperience.
A tenured colleague with 5+ years of corporate work experience.
A current or former marketer (or adjacent talent/program leader) who can translate business needs into compelling recruiting and development strategies.
Proven experience designing and leading programs/initiatives at scale.
A skilled collaborator who can align diverse stakeholders, drive decision-making, and move multiple workstreams forward.
Comfortable leading through data: defining metrics, building narratives, and using insights to recommend change.
A people leader who enjoys coaching, culture-building, and creating inclusive, high-performing teams.
Strong execution skills with attention to process, governance, and scalability.
Able to demonstrate ability to lead with empathy, inclusion, and a growth mindset.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
Program development, stakeholder influence, and executive-ready communication.
Recruiting strategy (campus + experienced) and employer brand mindset.

Nice-to-Have
Master's degree with at least 7+ years of experience; OR a PhD with 5+ years of experience, OR a MD with 4+ years of experience.

Secondment 9 months
