POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Relations Specialist supports branch marketing efforts by coordinating marketing strategy, budgets, campaigns, and content across assigned marketing channels. This position serves as a key connection between the Marketing Department and branch Community Development Contacts, helping ensure branch marketing initiatives are well-planned, effectively communicated, and aligned with overall marketing objectives.
KEY RESULT AREAS
1. Branch Marketing Strategy and Budgeting:
- Prepare branch marketing budgets and recommend effective allocation of marketing dollars to support branch and market-level initiatives.
- Serve as the liaison between the Marketing Department and branch Community Development Contacts to support communication, coordination, and execution of marketing efforts
2. Campaign Development and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the Graphic Design Specialist to coordinate and support custom branch marketing requests.
- Partner with the Digital Marketing Specialist to help launch and support branch marketing campaigns.
- Create clear and effective campaign briefs that guide the development, planning, and execution of branch marketing campaigns.
3. Marketing Channels and Content Management:
- Coordinate billboard placements and related contracts across the bank’s footprint.
- Develop and maintain content calendars for branch digital signs, lobby TVs, billboards, and related marketing channels.
- Serve as the department’s FirstSearch content editor, ensuring assigned content is maintained and updated as needed.
QualificationsKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with branch contacts, Marketing team members, and internal partners.
- Ability to coordinate marketing projects, campaign details, timelines, and related communication across multiple stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of marketing campaign planning, including the ability to develop clear briefs and organize campaign-related details.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage content calendars, marketing channel updates, and multiple branch marketing priorities.
- Ability to support budget planning and recommend effective use of marketing dollars for branch-level initiatives.
- Detail-oriented approach to reviewing, updating, and maintaining marketing content across assigned platforms and channels.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations (e.g., 6-8 hours with breaks).
- Occasionally required to stand or walk short distances.
- Manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse and telephone system.
- Visual acuity to read computer screens and written documents.
- Occasionally lifting office supplies, files and small packages (typically up to 10-25 lbs.)
- Ability to hear and understand spoken communication, including customer (internal and external) inquiries and phone conversations.
- Ability to speak clearly and be understood in person and over the phone.
