Marketing Product Specialist (mIfId)

As a key member of the Miltenyi Biotec B.V. team, reporting to the Marketing Manager of our BeNeLux subsidiary, you will have the exciting opportunity to strategically manage our diverse product portfolio and to plan, execute and monitor specific marketing activities driving the awareness and sales of our products and services in the BeNeLux market. The unique duties of this position will allow you to interact at all levels within the company as well as with key opinion leaders throughout the BeNeLux. Working closely with Global Marketing, Sales Support and the local sales force, you will act as a liaison between these departments to create new sales opportunities and offer hands on support. Main goal is to develop an understanding of customer needs and the competitive landscape, and to translate this into sales. Last but not least, as a natural team player, you are motivated to partner with your sales colleagues concerning product strategies, as well as product and instrument demonstrations, which will drive Miltenyi Biotec’s continuing success.

The overall purpose of the function is to extend the global marketing strategy at a local BeNeLux level and promote specifically the research immunology portfolio and clinical ATMP portfolio to existing accounts, as well as identifying new markets.

• Promote Miltenyi at relevant conferences, consortia meetings and locally organized seminars, leveraging your previous research experience.
• Proactively maintain relationships with existing KOL’s, whilst continuously developing new KOL relationships
• Establish local test sites for newly launched products, facilitate testing, determine strategic positioning and support the successful commercialization of these products.
• Collaborate closely with other marketing and sales support functions such as Account Managers Clinical Business, Account Managers BioPharma Business and Application Specialists for Flow, Imaging & Clinical Solutions
• Regularly participate in training activities to enhance your knowledge on research and clinical products and applications

Qualifications

• University degree in life science or biomedical sciences (Master, preferably PhD) and Laboratory experience in the field of Immunology or ATMPs
• 1-2 years of successful experience in sales and/or marketing within the biomedical market is preferred
• Flexibility in executing diverse projects and high willingness to travel within the BeNeLux
• High degree of self-organization and creative mindset. Strong communication, presentation and persuasion skills
• Ability to independently dive into new scientific topics and become an expert in these fields within a relative short timeframe.
