As Marketing & PR Manager at Basiqat Resort by Mantis, you will be responsible for developing and executing the resort’s marketing, communications, and public relations strategy, building awareness and positioning the property as a distinctive luxury destination.

Working closely with the resort leadership team and regional marketing functions, you will drive brand storytelling, media engagement, digital presence, partnerships, and guest acquisition initiatives that reflect the Mantis ethos of meaningful travel, conservation, and authentic experiences.

This role requires a creative, commercially minded marketer who understands luxury hospitality, is passionate about storytelling, and can build strong relationships across media, influencers, partners, and local communities.

What You'll Do

Marketing Strategy & Brand Positioning

  • Develop and execute the resort’s marketing and communications plan aligned with Mantis brand values and commercial objectives
  • Build awareness of Basiqat Resort as a unique luxury destination within Saudi Arabia and internationally
  • Translate the resort’s experiences, landscape, and guest offerings into compelling brand stories
  • Support pre-opening marketing activities, campaigns, and launch initiatives

Public Relations & Media Engagement

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with media, journalists, influencers, and industry partners
  • Drive PR initiatives, press releases, media visits, and storytelling opportunities
  • Coordinate media engagement activities, including familiarisation trips and resort experiences
  • Monitor brand reputation and ensure consistent messaging across all channels

Digital Marketing & Content Creation

  • Manage the resort’s digital presence across social media, website, and relevant platforms
  • Develop engaging content strategies that showcase the resort experience, destination, and guest journey
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies on content creation, photography, video, and campaigns
  • Monitor digital performance and identify opportunities to increase engagement and reach

Campaigns, Partnerships & Activations

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to support brand awareness, bookings, and revenue generation
  • Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, collaborations, and local activations
  • Work closely with Sales, Revenue, F&B, and Operations teams to support commercial initiatives
  • Support events, launches, and bespoke guest experiences

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the General Manager, Cluster Marketing, Sales, and regional teams to ensure alignment
  • Support the development of marketing materials, presentations, and brand communications
  • Manage relationships with agencies, suppliers, and creative partners
  • Ensure all communications reflect the luxury positioning and Mantis brand standards

Performance & Reporting

  • Track marketing activity, campaign performance, PR reach, and digital engagement metrics
  • Provide regular updates and insights to leadership teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve brand visibility, engagement, and commercial performance

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–8+ years of marketing and communications experience, ideally within luxury hospitality, lifestyle, travel, or premium consumer brands
  • Strong understanding of PR, digital marketing, social media, and brand storytelling
  • Experience managing media relationships, partnerships, and influencer engagement
  • Proven ability to create compelling content and campaigns that drive awareness and engagement
  • Experience supporting luxury hotels, resorts, or destination marketing is highly desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Creative mindset with strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to work independently in a remote resort environment
  • Experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC market preferred
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage
