The Marketing Planning, Prioritization & M&A Manager plays a pivotal role in bringing operational discipline and strategic clarity to FNBO's marketing organization during a period of significant growth.

This position manages two interconnected priorities:

1. Managing marketing integration activities for mergers and acquisitions

2. Managing marketing planning and prioritization practices that improve how marketing evaluates, sequences, and executes work.

The role ensures that as FNBO grows through acquisition and expansion, marketing maintains the operational rigor and strategic focus needed to deliver measurable business impact.

The ideal candidate excels at creating order from complexity, building and managing frameworks that scale, and fostering alignment across diverse stakeholders. This role requires someone who can balance strategic perspective with tactical execution, navigate ambiguity with confidence, and drive adoption of new practices through influence and collaboration.

Core Responsibilities

1. M&A Marketing Integration Leadership

Lead and coordinate marketing integration activities associated with mergers and acquisitions to ensure a seamless transition for customers, employees, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the overall marketing integration lead for acquisition-related initiatives and act as the primary point of contact between Marketing and the enterprise M&A program team.

  • Coordinate all marketing integration workstreams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and execution across marketing functions throughout the transaction lifecycle.

  • Facilitate weekly marketing integration meetings, maintain project plans, track milestones, manage risks and dependencies, and provide regular status updates to executive leadership and enterprise integration teams.

  • Own and maintain marketing integration governance, including project documentation, reporting, dashboards, action logs, decision tracking, and integration schedules utilizing project management tools such as Smartsheet.

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a comprehensive M&A Marketing Integration Playbook that standardizes:

  • Integration timelines

  • Marketing workstreams

  • Communication frameworks

  • Brand transition processes

  • Customer experience considerations

  • Digital and collateral consolidation

  • Governance and approval structures

  • Reporting and escalation processes

  • Serve as the coordinator and steward of the M&A Marketing Integration Playbook by partnering with functional marketing leaders who own and define their respective integration requirements and best practices. Ensure all marketing disciplines contribute to, maintain, and continuously improve their portions of the playbook while driving consistency across the overall framework.

  • Createand continuously improvescalable frameworks that reduce integration complexity and improve speed-to-integration

  • Ensure acquired customers experience clear, coordinated, and customer-centric communications throughout transition periods

  • Coordinate marketing support plans for acquisition-related activity in FNBO growth markets

2.Portfolio Planning & Prioritization Practices

  • Help teams balance short-term execution needs with long-term strategic priorities

  • Supportquarterly and annual planning processes by organizing inputs, tracking decisions, and maintaining accountability structures

  • Capacity and resourcing

  • Risk and urgency

  • Providecentralized visibility into key marketing initiatives, dependencies, timelines, and resource demands

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve cross-functional coordination

Collaboration and Strategic Execution

Reporting to a member of the marketing leadership team, this individual will work collaboratively to execute against strategic priorities rather than setting enterprise strategy independently.

This role will partner across marketing disciplines and business teams to ensure:

  • Plans are operationally realistic

  • Teams remain aligned

  • Execution is efficient and measurable

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable navigating ambiguity, skilled at building relationships, and capable of managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Preferred Experience

  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives or enterprise programs

  • Background in marketing operations, integrated marketing, project management, consulting, or business transformation

  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or organizational integrations preferred

  • Strong understanding of marketing workflows across channels and disciplines

  • Experience with prioritization frameworks, workflow management, and operational reporting

  • Ability to influence without direct authority and navigate matrixed organizations

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across leadership levels

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $81,662.00-$134,741.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
